Event Update | Winter Carnival | Folks! The lack of snow makes it pretty challenging to sled, ski and snowshoe.. so, we are postponing and rescheduling our Winter Carnival events for Feb. 24th & 25th!
Think snowy thoughts!! & mark your calendar for Winter Carnival. A weekend of celebrating winter and embracing the fun and brisk, seasonal beauty with sledding, snowshoeing, skating and XC skiing. Events are geared for all ages and encouraged to include the whole family. Our taproom will be open, offering beverages and a limited food menu throughout each day.
EVENT SCHEDULE.
2/24 : 10am-6pm
10am-4pm : sledding; open to public, BYO Sled
10am-4pm : xc skiing; grab your skis and head out for a beautiful, rarely seen side of Alburg Golf Links. A loop trail around the course with plenty of small hills to keep things interesting.
10am-4pm : Ice Skating on the irrigation pond; ice conditions are weather dependent and a final determination will be made prior to the event. BYO Gear.
2pm : Guided snow shoe trek with Sarah Richardson. Must sign up in advance, it is free, BYO Gear. If snow conditions are poor, we will hike instead!
4pm-6pm : Campfire & Smore's
2/25 : 10am-4pm
