Guilford Art Club
For this next month we are gonna try a new format.
We are going to MAKE Art together.
Our monthly prompt is the things that surround us. It's that time of year when we all spend much more time in doors, and we maybe get cabin fever, or maybe we take on projects, get crafty, experiment with our cooking more, write letters, read books… how do the things we surround ourselves with affect us? Do they inspire us? Did we choose them? How did they get there? Do you want more or less of them?
You are invited to bring one or two of these things and we will collectively assemble a Still Life composition for each of us to make our own personal style of art from. Paint, draw, collage, write a poem, compose a song… While we make our art, we can share about our chosen objects.
What to bring: an object or 2 and materials you like to make Art with.
There are some supplies at the Library and perhaps others will share some too.
When: Wednesday February 7th 6pm to 7:30pm
Where: Guilford Free Library
Who: free, all ages and all skill levels welcome
