Hot soup, fresh bread, cider, donuts, live music and a puppet show are all on the menu at the Elmore Community Trust's Winter Warmer. This free community gathering, happening February 4th from 2-5pm at the Elmore Town Hall, is a great way to get out and visit with friends and neighbors on a winter day. Folks can choose between two soups made by retired chef Steve Sprague, add a side of fresh Elmore Mountain Bread and listen to the fabulous piano playing of local musician David Langevin. Enjoy conversation around the campfire outside by the side of Lake Elmore or challenge a neighbor to a game of checkers. There will be updates on the progress of the Elmore Community Trust's project to preserve the Elmore Store and at 4:00 the Elmore Community Trust will be performing an original puppet show written and created by members of the board with piano accompaniment from Langevin.
