Plainfield Arts proudly presents an exhilarating concert by Vermont's newest Cajun Band, Pointe Noir, at the historic Plainfield Opera House. This vibrant event is set to take place on Sunday, February 4, 2024, at 4:00 PM.
Pointe Noir's unique rhythm, deeply rooted in Southwest Louisiana, promises an unforgettable experience for attendees. Hailing from various musical traditions, the members of Pointe Noir came together with a shared passion for Cajun music. The band's members, including seasoned fiddle player Katie Trautz, old-time guitar player Chris Hollis, Cajun and Zydeco accordion player Cannon Labrie, percussionist Walker Blackwell, and multi-instrumentalist Christiana Athena-Blackwell, bring a wealth of musical expertise and diverse backgrounds to the stage.
Pointe Noir is set to deliver an uplifting blend of exciting dance music, country songs, and Cajun tunes from Lafayette and beyond. The Plainfield Opera House provides the perfect backdrop for this musical journey, making it an event not to be missed.
