The Paran Plunge, an annual fundraiser for Paran Recreations INC located in North Bennington, will return this Saturday, January 27th. Teams and brave individuals gather to dip into the icy waters of Lake Paran. The Paran Plunge kicks off the greater North Bennington Winterfest that same day.

Participants can register for the Plunge for $10 each at lakeparanvt.org/events or register on the day of, starting at 10:30 am. Teams are expected to begin plunging at noon.

For those preferring to stay warm, the event is free for spectators who can gather to cheer on friends and family members braving the cold waters. Breakfast will be served by the Bennington Bagel Company from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, enjoy the warmth of the fires, and children can meet and greet the enchanting Snow Sister Duo and Ice Harvester hosted by World of Wonder Entertainment.

New to plunging? Don't miss the chance to discover the benefits of cold water exposure at our "Cold Water Immersion 101" workshop, led by certified cold plunge guide, Kelli Boucher. Sign up for the workshop the night before the plunge to ensure you're well-prepared for the icy adventure.
