Friends of Scouts BSA Troop 823 will be hosting a Calcutta dinner event on Saturday, March 16th at the Swanton VFW, 3:30-6:30pm.

Tickets are $125 and include dinner for 2 (catered by the Phoenix House) and a numbered ball for the Calcutta. There will also be a silent auction and tea cup raffle.

Friends of Scouts BSA Troop 823 is a booster club for the Troop. The Troop plans and supports many activities for our Scouts, including camping (winter and summer), climbing, skiing, fishing, hiking, biking, service projects, and merit badges. In the next 18 months our Scouts have the opportunity to participate in trips to Battleship Cove in Massachusetts, Gettysburg in Pennsylvania, summer camp at Hidden Valley Scout Reservation in New Hampshire, and Summit High Adventure camp in West Virginia.

In order to make these activities and trips possible and to ensure no Scout gets left out of these opportunities for financial reasons, Friends of Troop 823 will be hosting a calcutta fundraiser on Saturday, March 16th that will provide direct financial support to Scouts wanting to participate in these activities.
