Little City Players, the community theatre company based at the historic Vergennes (VT) Opera House, is pleased to present Barbara Robinson's beloved holiday play, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" December 6 & 7 and 12-14, 2014.
Auditions will be held at the Opera House from 2:00 to 4:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday, September 27 and 28. All roles are available. The cast features two men, six women, eight boys, and nine girls. The childrens’ roles are for young actors and actresses between the ages of five and 13. Speaking and non-speaking roles are available.
In this hilarious Christmas classic, a couple struggling to put on a church Christmas pageant is faced with casting the Herdman kids--probably the most inventively awful kids in history. You won't believe the mayhem - and the fun - when the Herdmans collide with the Christmas story head on!
