Everyone can, and should carve a wooden spoon. Neil Silins wants to help get you started carving your very own and hopefully answer some of the basic questions regarding wood carving, sharpening, and how to create your own masterpieces that you can cook and eat with. A great, accessible hobby that can be therapeutic and social all while provide an outlet for creativity. What a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon!

For any prospective first-time attendees, please note that this is a social gathering for folks to practice their craft in a community environment. This is not a class per se HOWEVER Neil can offer some basic formal instruction and friendly advice. Bring your own knives - (A knife recommendation is available) and bring your own wood (blanks will be available for purchase) .
