Hello friends and neighbors! We will be hosting a house party on February 10, 3-5pm for Lena Greenberg, new city council candidate for our ward (ward 5!). We look forward to meeting you, and creating a space for your questions for Lena and good conversations about the important issues Burlingtonians face.

We are so, so excited to have the opportunity to vote in a city councilor who is wildly passionate about creating material change to get our needs met as the waves of crises that we have been building towards for many years quickly come crashing down around us. Someone is who is not complacent, is actively against perpetuating the status quo, and who deeply cares about listening to the actual people who live in this ward when making decisions.

Housing affordability, climate resilience, and public safety are topics that Lena has extensive experience with their history in food justice, climate organizing, farming, steering our NPA, and justice-based organizing on the local and national levels.
