Join us at our annual conservation coffee chat to learn more about locally-led conservation and the local working group and to help decide our federal dollars should be invested in Windham County to support the restoration and protection of our natural resources.
We'll have warm drinks and snacks available. The district will give a brief presentation about the locally-led process that is used to decide on federal spending through the USDA Natural Resources Conservation Services, as well as a quick overview of the district's programming and options for support for land stewards. This is the kick-off event for the 2024 Resource Concern Survey. The results of this survey are used by the local working group to make critical decisions about conservation funding each year.
We'll have paper copies of the survey on hand at the coffee chat, but you can also access the survey online here: https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSfVKtoYgFMUPbufpvm6ZkGtWgzF0gO2D7hv5X6gfT8hRzxI7g/f[...]nse
To register for this event, please email the district at windhamcountynrcd@gmail.com or call us at 802-689-3024. We hope you can join us!
If you're unable to attend the in-person event, we're also offering an online version on Monday, January 29 at 6 PM. Please register for the online session here: https://us02web.zoom.us/meeting/register/tZcldOigrT8jGt0BKuJ9rcNvQB3sGziTbiqd
