Montpelier Contra Dance: Adina and the Tinkers, Jan. 20, 7:30-11:00pm

We've got another excellent line-up for the Montpelier Contra Dance series, this Saturday. Adina Gordon returns to teach and call exciting dances, and the Gaslight Tinkers bring their eclectic mix of traditional tunes and world beat/reggae/funk/jazz influences to get you up on your feet! It will be cold outside, but hot contras will be the rule indoors. Dress in layers, so you can adjust as you heat up!

Come by about 7:30 so you can change or clean your shoes for the refresher/instruction lesson (taught by Adina) about 7:40, and then enjoy dancing from 8:00 to 11:00, with a mid-way break. If you can, please bring clean, non-marking shoes to protect our beautiful VT maple dance floor. We also recommend a water bottle to stay hydrated. Masks are not required, but we provide some if you want. The Capital City Grange Hall, which is located at 6612 VT 12, Berlin VT 05602 has an excellent exhaust fan to keep the dance ventilated.

Admission: choose the price that matches you--$12 for regular adult-type people, $5 for kids or low-income people, or $20 if you want to help us pay the band, caller and sound really well!
