Want to Make a Difference?

Monday, January 29, 2024, 4-5:30, Hayes Room, Kellogg- Hubbard Library, Montpelier

What is the connection between our Dog River, the Winooski, Lake Memphremagog, Lake Champlain and the landfill in Coventry/Newport?

Plan to join Peggy Stevens and Henry Coe from the Northeast Kingdom environmental organization (Do Not Undermine Memphremagog Purity), to learn more about where our trash goes and how its byproducts, such as toxic leachate from the landfill, threatens our rivers and lakes and will likely end up where we like to swim, walk our dogs, and watch our kids play soccer.

Find out what is at stake and how we can influence the outcome. Bring a friend and join us at 4 PM at Kellogg-Hubbard Library on Monday, January 29th.

For more information, contact Peggy Stevens at 802-723-5951
