If you missed the Glow Ride and recent Glow Walks, then maybe the Glow Run is your chance to get out on the streets of Montpelier wearing your best bright, blinky and reflective safety bling. The Glow Run is the latest addition to the Montpelier Complete Streets annual Be Bright at Night awareness campaign.

WHAT: A casual fun run around Montpelier open to all paces. This is not a race. The goal is to move as a group as we light up the night. We may also stop to take a couple of photos.

WHEN: Tues., January 23, 2024 @ 5:15 pm (see more detail below)

WHERE: Meet in the courtyard in front of Onion River Outdoors (89 Main St) at 5:15 pm. The group will depart at 5:30 pm to run ~5 miles around town and return back to our starting point by 6:30 pm. ORO plans to stay open exceptionally until 7pm for us to regroup after the run.

HOW TO PREPARE: It could be snowing and cold. It will be dark. Dress for winter running and wear lights and reflective gear. We will have a few extras vests and lights to lend if needed.
