Liam Tobin grew up in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont and just recently moved to Peacham. In the fall of 2023 he traveled along the GRE10 footpath which roughly parallels the France/Spain border in the Pyrenees Mountains. On Sunday afternoon he will show the documentary film he made about the experience and answer questions.

From Liam: Throughout my childhood my parents Laura and Bill took me on backpacking trips around the globe. After graduating from Clark University in Spring 2023 I sought out an international trip and challenge to the edge of what I believed to be possible. 

The French Pyrenees really called to me and by the end of September I was off on the trail. I chose the GR10 footpath, a 600 mile trek spanning from the Atlantic Ocean to Mediterranean Sea with an elevation gain of 176K feet. Given the fact it was a solo expedition, I made the decision to bring along a GoPro camera and record my experiences over my 41-day journey. I am incredibly excited to share the documentary film that developed during this life-changing trek.
