State Treasurer Mike Pieciak will participate in a community discussion with Rep. Esme Cole and Hartford Town Treasurer Joe Major. The forum will delve into the Treasurer's Office's initiatives including VT Saves, a public retirement initiative which earned unanimous support from the legislature last year; the 10% in VT Local Investment Program, which recently allocated a substantial $55 million towards new housing construction in Vermont; and the innovative Baby Bonds Proposal put forth by the Treasurer. Treasurer Pieciak will also provide an update on his Office's efforts to support climate infrastructure financing, weatherization, and resiliency.
