Chocolates with Charlie is back for 2024! Charlie Nardozzi will be coming to the Stowe Free Library for an early Valentine's Day on Tuesday, February 6 at 7pm to give us all some hints and tips for our summer gardening. This year Charlie will be talking about ecological gardening and companion planting.
Charlie will talk about ecological gardening and how to work with, not against, nature to achieve a beautiful, sustainable garden and habitat for insects, birds and other wildlife. He will also discuss the benefits of companion gardening such as repelling or trapping pests, weed suppression, improved soil fertility, improved pollination and increased crop productivity.
Locally made chocolates will be provided for all! This is a free and public event.
The Stowe Free Library is located at 90 Pond Street in Stowe, Vermont. Please make sure to use the back door by the Elementary School as the Library closes at 7:00pm.
