This Wednesday, the 24th, we"ll be having an open house at our Mason Lodge on the corner of North and Elm Streets in Bristol. We're starting out with a free community dinner at 5pm and then we're moving upstairs into the Lodge for a public presentation. We'll be opening and closing the Lodge and giving a breif description of the different seats in the Lodge. We'll have a number of speakers doing brief presentations about related groups to the Freemasons. The idea behind this is to share with the community just what goes on behind those closed doors. Across the state of Vermont Mason Lodges will be holding open houses to some degree on October 18th. We cannot commit to a large event on that day so we're doing it early. This is open to the community and of course there is no obligation and there is no hidden agenda as some have asked about. There is no expectation from you except to have a good time, a good meal and learn a little about us.
