Why learn about home heat transfer? Because heat moving out of your home and cold air coming in is what's hiking up your heating bill each winter! This workshop will show you how simple weatherization techniques like sealing air holes and insulating attic and wall cavities can you save you money for years to come. Representatives from the Library and the towns of Albany, Craftsbury, Glover, Stannard and Hardwick have formed a community energy efficiency group to share ways to save energy costs in our homes. As part of this effort GFL is hosting a FREE hands-on workshop by VEEP(Vermont Energy Education Program)on Saturday, February 3rd at 2PM at the library. Come learn the science of heat transfer to share this important information with friends and neighbors. A local weatherization expert will join us to answer your specific questions following the program. This program is limited to 20 participants, so we are requiring that you register by Saturday, January 27th. Please call to register at 533-2531.
