We will have another outstanding Central Vermont OLLI (Osher Lifelong Learning Institute) series this winter from February 7 through April 17. All programs will again be at the Montpelier Senior Activity Center, 58 Barre St., Wednesdays at 1:30, with the exception of three films hosted by Rick Winston at the Savoy, 26 Main St., Montpelier, that complete the series.
The fascinating opening program February 7 on artificial intelligence (AI) will be presented by Tom Evslin, Vermont entrepreneur and former State government leader. Evslin will give us a guided tour of the latest exciting developments in this quickly evolving field.
The series also includes programs on medical aid for dying, the Rokeby Museum and Vermont's anti-slavery movement, the 2024 total solar eclipse, technology in Vermont agriculture, garden design, Howard Norman with Jane Shore on their marriage, and forecasting the 2024 presidential election, plus Rick Winston's three films highlighting richly successful actor/director collaborations.
