All are invited to a Glow Walk on Thursday eve, January 11, organized by the Complete Streets Committee. We'll gather at 5:00 pm inside the Montpelier Senior Activity Center (58 Barre Street). Please enter via the side door because the front door will be locked. The purpose of the walk is to draw attention to how important it is for pedestrians and bicyclists to be seen by motorists at night. For this reason, please wear reflective vests, head lamps, and/or armbands, or please carry flashlights or whatever you may have. To jazz things up for this Glow Walk and add to the fun, we're encouraging you to carry or wear bells of some kind. Let's be bright and jingle as we go! After about an hour of walking around Montpelier, we'll return to the senior center for hot chocolate. Questions?
