Dear Local Business Owners,

Project Graduation is a chaperoned, all-night, alcohol and drug-free event hosted by students' parents. It was started in Maine in 1979 after the tragic alcohol-related deaths of seven recent graduates during commencement season. Project Grad has grown into a community-wide celebration of our students.

MMU has been hosting Project Grad for 29 years. The event is held on graduation night from 7pm to 6am the next morning. Our goal is to provide an evening of safety and fun for students to celebrate and make memories during this very exciting time of their lives.

As volunteers committed to raising funds for this special event we are holding a casino night on Saturday, March 30th. We are looking for local businesses to sponsor the game tables at the event. The cost to sponsor a table starts at $150. Businesses who sponsor will be advertised at the tables they sponsor, as well as on social media and in community communications. In addition, the business will receive two free tickets to our event. Your donation will advertise your business while supporting this event and these graduates.

Donations can be mailed to MMU (Attn. Project Grad Donations) at 211 Browns Trace Rd. Jericho, VT 05465. We are also happy to come and pick any donations up from your business. You can call Krista Parisi at (203)671-4540, or email projectgrad@mmuusd.org to schedule picking up your donation. We ask that we receive all donations by Friday, February 23rd.

The Project Graduation effort is the community at its best -- people and local businesses with diverse backgrounds working closely together toward providing for the safety and well-being of these young adults as they transition to the next stage of their lives. Please consider a gift or donation to assist in this endeavor.

The graduating class of 2024 of Mount Mansfield Union High School thanks you for your consideration and support!
