Hello Old North End & Downtown neighbors!

This Thursday evening, join your neighbors for a delicious community dinner with live music (5:30pm - 6:30pm) followed by the Wards 2 & 3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly (NPA) meeting (6:30pm to 8:30pm).

On the dinner menu: VT Cranberry Bean Winter Chili with cornbread & applesauce spice cake for dessert.

The NPA meeting will start with intros, announcements, and public forum, followed by time to hear from and talk with our local City Councilors and School Commissioners.

We'll then vote on a Ward 3 resident to represent the ward on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Advisory Board. If you're interested in being the Ward 3 rep yourself, please email the Steering Committee at wards2and3NPA@googlegroups.com as soon as possible.

Our larger agenda items this month involve some important housekeeping — on NPA funding, NPA bylaws, and on two resolutions to consider.

Details of each agenda item:

1) We'll share ideas and preferences on how we'd like our NPA funds to be spent.

2) We'll be sharing, discussing, and voting on three proposed additions to the Ward 2 NPA bylaws:
- Clarification on how resolutions can be proposed and that they should be warned ahead of time when possible
- Info on the process to join the Steering Committee
