Save the date for our first Vermont Humanities speaker of 2024. On Saturday, January 20th at noon, Jill Mudgett will visit the Roger Clark Memorial Library in Pittsfield to present – Murder in the Vermont Woods: A Story About Race, Class and Gender in the 19th century. Jill is a Vermont historian who works on topics of history, identity, and place. She enjoys connecting with the public through public talks, broadcasts, and community service.
