The third program in the League of Women Voters' 2023-24 Lecture Series on Election Issues and Democracy will be held on Wednesday, January 10, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kellogg Hubbard Library.
Secretary of State Sarah Copeland Hanzas and Martha Diess, Global Citizenship Specialist with the Vermont Agency of Education will discuss innovations in inspiring youth in democracy, state policy on civics education in our schools, and the Secretary's outreach program to encourage student engagement. A question and answer session will follow their presentations.
The program will be held in person at the library and live-streamed by Onion River Community Access TV (orcamedia.net).
