The Marlboro Meeting House is hosting a reception for Alan Dann around 1 PM on Saturday, 09/27/2014. Alan passed away 09/07/2014. The reception will occur after his Celebration of Life, (11 AM, First Baptist Church, Main Street, Bratt) and his burial, (King Cemetery, Fox Road, Marlboro). Alan Dann was organist for the Halifax Union Society, St. Mary's In The Mountains in Wilmington, the West Dover Congregational Church and Marlboro Meeting House. Alan was a member of the Marlboro Historical Society, was elected Auditor and was a Deacon at Marlboro Meeting House. The four churches will all help with luncheon-type refreshments. This group expects a large turnout of people. If you would like to contribute sandwiches, salads, cookies, brownies, or the like, they will be gratefully received at the church beginning at 10:30 AM Saturday, 09/27/2014.
