The Montpelier Parks Commission is exploring the possibility of building a connecting trail for easy travel between the Elm Street recreation fields, North Park Drive, and the "Seven Fireplaces" area in Hubbard Park that would be open to bikes, pedestrians, and cross-country skiers. The goal is to have better multi-use connectivity between some of our most important recreation facilities including Hubbard Park, the North Branch Park, the Montpelier Pool, and the Elm St. Recreation Fields. This is a project that was identified in the 2022 management plan for Hubbard Park & the North Branch Park.
If you would like to participate in this discussion please consider joining the Parks Commission on Tuesday, January 16th from 6-8pm, or writing to the Parks Commission in advance of that meeting.
