Four-term Governor of Vermont Jim Douglas will converse with Middlebury College Professor Eric Davis at Town Hall Theater in Middlebury.

They will discuss Douglas' long-awaited memoir, The Vermont Way: A Republican Governor Leads America’s Most Liberal State, which chronicles his early life as well as his political career. It’s a guided tour of Vermont history and politics and includes forty-one historical photographs that create a portrait of Jim Douglas and the state of Vermont.

This event is free and open to the public. It will begin at 7 p.m. and conclude after the conversation, an audience Q&A, and a book signing and author reception.
