Please come to the first Saturday dance of the New Year, as the Montpelier Contra dance starts out 2024 on January 6th, with another great dance. This will happen, as usual, at the Capital City Grange Hall. We'll enjoy calling by Steve Zakon-Anderson, and live music by The Turning Stile +: Aaron Marcus, Joanne Garton and Simeon Chapin.

Come by about 7:30 so you can change or clean your shoes for the refresher/instruction lesson (taught by Steve) about 7:40, and then enjoy dancing from 8:00 to 11:00, with a mid-way break. If you can, please bring clean shoes to protect our beautiful VT maple dance floor. We also recommend a water bottle to stay hydrated. Masks are not required, but we provide some if you want. The Grange Hall, which is located at 6612 VT 12, Berlin VT 05602 has an excellent exhaust fan to keep the dance ventilated.

Admission: choose the price that matches you--$12 for regular adult-type people, $5 for kids or low-income people, or $20 if you want to help us pay the band, caller and sound really well!

You can also come early and be part of the Community Potluck Dinner sponsored by the Grange, from 6:00 to 7:00!
