At the request of many Greensboro residents, an informational meeting will be held about Lakeview Union Elementary and the non-binding petition that was initiated by non-Greensboro residents to close Lakeview school. Please join us on January 9, 2024 @ 6pm in the multipurpose room of Lakeview Elementary to gather information and help form the next steps to ensure continuation of our school.
This meeting will be moderated by our town moderator Tim Nisbet. There will be time for questions and concerns. Not all questions will have answers that evening. It is important to gather these questions and concerns. There will be an agenda with multiple categories, finances, petition purpose, programs currently at the school and others. Once like questions are compiled, answers can be researched. It is important all voters be informed when the vote occurs on Town Meeting day. Please come to this meeting to support our teachers, parents, students, express your concerns and ask your questions.
