Smugglers' Notch Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to support the upcoming Cambridge Community Visit, hosted by the Vermont Council on Rural Development. This is a major community initiative which requires your attendance and support. Please plan on taking the afternoon off, so that you may attend sessions which will extend into the evening. A community meal is also planned.

What is the Community Visit? All members of the Cambridge community are invited to participate in a series of forums in town to share their concerns and ideas. VCRD will bring a team of federal, state, business, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders who will listen to residents and will return in months ahead to the community with recommendations, ideas and support in developing action plans and funding strategies. The forum sessions for discussion on the 30th will include: Senior Issues; Community Center; Traffic, Parking, & Pedestrian Infrastructure; Youth; Natural Resource Issues; Health & Safety; Education; Economic Development & Tourism; and Creating Community Unity.
