Celebrating Community and the Legacy of Service:
Step into a day of inspiration and reflection as we celebrate our community's resilience and honor the Legacy of Service at this year's unique Freedom Fund brunch. The event, which stands as the Rutland Area NAACP's principal fundraiser, is an opportunity to recognize local heroes, reflect on our accomplishments, and set the tone for a year of continued dedication to racial and social justice.

Keynote Speaker: Shirley A. Jefferson
We are honored to announce Shirley A. Jefferson, Vice President of Community Engagement and Government Relations at Vermont Law School and an accomplished associate professor of law, as our distinguished keynote speaker. Her insights will undoubtedly resonate as we reflect on the enduring legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
