The Friends of Missisquoi NWR is hosting an online Zoom presentation featuring Barry Genzlinger where he will share information about one of the most misunderstood mammals. Barry is the president of the Vermont Bat Center (vermontbatcenter@gmail.com, vermontbatcenter.org, FB: vermont bat center) and the only licensed bat rehabilitator in Vermont. He and his wife, Maureen, have been rescuing Vermont Bats for over 20 years. Together they have done presentations to thousands of people in schools, community groups, educational centers, and conferences throughout the northeast. This program will be presented from the Vermont Bat Center where you will meet some of the bats who are spending the winter at the center. They will be having their monthly checkup during the program so get your questions ready!
