What is the Camden Conference?
My husband, Skip, and I moved to MidCoast Maine in 2015 and were encouraged to attend our first Camden Conference. What we learned from this three-day event was that it is foreign policy conversation, "a mind stretching, stimulating conference on civic engagement."
The quality and expertise of the speakers and the relevancy of the topics over the several years that Skip and I lived in Maine never disappointed. The conversations which developed with friends during and following the conferences were thought-provoking and inspiring.
With the pandemic the Camden Conference went virtual and we were thrilled to be able to take part last year from our new home in Greensboro. However, the missing piece was the valued conversations that happen in person.
The topic this year is "India: Rising Ambitions, Challenges at Home." The dates are Friday evening, February 16, through Sunday morning, February 18.
Paula Davidson at the Greensboro Free Library has generously embraced the idea of bringing this three-day experience -- the Camden Conference -- to the library for us. Paula has also ordered new books on India -- to bring us up to speed!

You can either join from your home (for which there is a charge ), or come to the library to share with friends and neighbors for the LIVE virtual, FREE event.
