The Vermont Cancer Center at the University of Vermont and Fletcher Allen Health Care will host the 17th Annual Breast Cancer Conference on Friday, October 10th at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center in Burlington, Vermont. This FREE educational event is open to anyone interested in learning more about breast and women’s health.

The conference features more than 80 workshops and sessions, including educational presentations about the prevention, detection and treatment of cancer, and information about survivorship. Some highlights from this year's agenda include: a presentation on integrative medicine and cancer, a screening panel moderated by Interim Vermont Commissioner of Health Tracy Dolan, an overview of clinical trials and their impact on cancer treatment, presentations on the benefits of exercise and nutrition during after cancer treatment, and active sessions such as yoga and Pilates.
