Oh come all ye neighbors on December 23rd at 5:30pm to the Stannard Church!
Everyone is welcome to the annual Stannard Holiday Gathering and Sing-Along , both the talented and those of us whose talents lie in appreciating the talents of others ...
The evening begins with showcasing the many creative and varied individuals, groups and families from our community. From music to storytelling, you'll never find a more delightful audience than your neighbors who gather in the dusty pews beneath the candlelit chandelier in the 135-year old nationally-registered historic Stannard Church!
Then, we'll shake the timbers of our little yellow cathedral as we join our voices together to belt out a few holiday tunes, accompanied by the dulcet tones of a foot-powered pump organ.
Finally, we'll grab each other's hands and elbows to amble our way across the moonlit Stannard Mountain Road to the Town Hall, to enjoy hot drinks, delicious treats and lively conversation.
Enjoy this last week of the longest, darkest nights of the year as we approach the Solstice and then come celebrate the first of the lengthening days at the Stannard Holiday Gathering and Sing-Along next Saturday, December 23rd, starting at 5:30pm in the Stannard Church!
