Burlington Electric Department, which serves as the city’s Energy Efficiency Utility, is launching a new three-year Demand Resource Plan. The purpose of the plan is to describe the energy efficiency programs, budgets and energy savings goals that BED is proposing to implement in January 2015. To ensure that the efficiency programs fully address our customers’ energy requirements, it is important for BED’s staff to hear directly from you. Accordingly, the energy services staff will be holding a public hearing on Wed., Oct. 15, at 5:30 p.m., at BED (585 Pine Street), to discuss the draft plan and listen to your comments before the plan is finalized.
