5:50 Treasurer's Report: considering applying for a flood loan at 1.3% interest from the Vermont Bond Bank to cover road-repair expenses not reimbursed by FEMA. Action likely.

Review of Town IT services with possible presentation from a potential vendor. Action possible.

Accepting the Treasurer's resignation as de facto Collector of Delinquent Taxes and approving notification to appoint a replacement until the March 5, 2024 Town Meeting. Action likely.

6:20 Considering the WCUUSD's request that all Washington Central Unified Union School ballots for the March 5, 2024 School Meeting be mailed to all active, not-challenged Middlesex voters at the school district's expense? Action likely.

6:30 Approving Vermont Emergency Management's request to serve as "Grantee" in the @15 Middlesex properties that have applied for buyouts through the Hazard Mitigation Program, signing the Memorandum of Understanding, the FEMA Model Statement of Assurances and the Maintenance Agreement that would require the Town to maintain the properties once they are returned to their natural state. 6:45 Signing a Warning for a February 6, 2024, site visit at 5 PM to Welch Park Drive followed by a Public Hearing in Town Hall immediately thereafter to consider turning Welch Park Drive into a Class 3 Town road via deed & acceptance from the Welch Park Association. Action likely.
