Have you found yourself struggling to get into the "holiday spirit"? Is life feeling challenging right now? Are you missing a loved one who will not be physically present this year? Do the days seem especially dark and dreary? Trust me, you're not the only one. Not everyone this time of year is ready to sing for joy and dance a happy holiday dance. It's okay. If you are looking for something to bring you comfort and peace and ease your discontent, Join us Wednesday, December 20th at 6:00 at the United Church of Craftsbury on the Common for our annual ecumenical Blue Christmas Service led by Reverend Joe Welker (ECPC) and Pastor Kim Larose (UCC). All are welcome to join in quiet meditation, singing, prayer and candle lighting. If you prefer to experience this service in the comfort and solitude of your own home, the service will be available for you on our United Church of Craftsbury YouTube channel by December 21st. We hope you find it a balm for your blues. Wishing you peace and assurance this holiday season.
