Next Sunday the 17th at 4pm the Westford Common Hall has a double treat is in store. Firstly, Skip Gorman, the national treasure of a masterful mandolinist and cowboy singer accompanied by the young talented instrumentalist, Mark Burds will be performing lively gritty and sometimes cowboy songs that carry the distance and solitude of the West. For over half a century SKIP GORMAN has performed worldwide an impressive variety of traditional Americana, Celtic folk and bluegrass music. Filmmaker, Ken Burns, has used Skip's original music on five of his celebrated documentaries.
In addition to all this, artist Orah Moore, will be showing a display of her "Montana-Stewards of the Land" photography exhibit featuring the land and livestock of Montana ranchers.
