The Old North End Community Dinner is a free, fun, family-friendly event that's open to everyone. This month's menu features a hearty holiday mushroom ragout over baked rosemary polenta , roasted winter vegetables, bright radicchio slaw, and gingerbread cake. There will be lively music by Ana Ruesink & Alli Cooper-Ellis and kids art activities, followed by the Wards 2&3 Neighborhood Planning Assembly.
The Neighborhood Planning Assembly starts at 6:30pm and includes a listening session with state legislators (bring your questions, thoughts, and ideas for them to hear and respond to) and updates and a discussion on the public-private partnership to redevelop the "Gateway Block, which is the area containing Memorial Auditorium and bordered by Main St., College St., S. Union St., and S. Winooski. As always, we start with a public forum and will hear updates from city councilors and school commissioners
