The annual wreath laying at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery will be a two day event this year. On Friday, December 15th a truckload of 1,536 wreaths will be delivered to the cemetery thanks to the generosity of Shaw's supermarket. The truck will arrive at 10:30 am and will be unloaded by volunteers. The wreath laying will begin at 11 am. Each veteran will be honored with a, "thank you," their name read aloud, and a wreath laid at their grave.

Wreaths Across America will be hosting an official ceremony on Saturday, December 16th at 12 pm at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery. They will be delivering another 1,880 wreaths which will also be placed on the graves of veterans.

Volunteers are needed for both days to assist with unloading the truck and laying the wreaths. No registration is required, simply show up before the event is scheduled to begin. Dress accordingly as this is an outdoor event. Thank you for your support and happy holidays.
