The Duxbury Historical Society will be holding a Christmas service in the Old South Duxbury Church at 4 pm on Saturday December 16, 2023.

The Service will feature some history of the early community Christmas celebrations including hymns from the time period of the first service in the church in 1855 and also readings from the 1939 combined community and school children's Christmas held in the Church.

Ken Spencer will be playing on the old church pump organ.

All are welcome to join us in this Christmas celebration in this 1855 Church that has been the center of so many community celebrations of the year.

The Church is not (currently) handicapped accessible; we are working to raise funds to remedy this.

Please dress warmly, and carpool if you can.
