The Ruth Stone House nonprofit, in partnership with the Vermont Council of Teachers of Language Arts would like to invite "teachers who write" to take part in a one-day retreat at the historic Ruth Stone House in Goshen this Wednesday, December 13th from 8:30-3pm.

This retreat will include a number of opportunities to meet with other ELA teachers and will help to hone your own writing craft with professional writers Ben Pease and Bianca Stone. Through tending your own writing practice, you will be able to explore ways in which to inspire and encourage the development of your students' creative voices. The hope is that at the end of the day, you will come away with renewed confidence in your own capacity for written expression and further, with ideas about how to bolster that same confidence in students as you develop your curriculum.

There are just a few more spots open-- we would love to see you!

Breakfast and lunch will be served and a professional development Certificate of Completion will be provided.
