Basket Weaving Workshop Sept. 25

Betty Atwood, retired UVM teacher and instructor at Shelburne Farms Craft School, will be at the Castleton Community Center to teach the method of coil weaving. These baskets are made of twine and laced with yarn for color. Participants should bring a blunt large eyed needle and scissors. The rest of the materials will be provided. The workshop is Thursday September 25 from 1:00-4:00. Registration and payment are due by Tuesday September 23rd. Fee: $8.00. Supporting and Life Members $6.00. Call 468-3093 to register.
