On December 12th opens at 6:00pm, awards start at 6:30 -8:30pm

All the awards showcase design excellence that was initiated in the Mad River Valley with the exception of the electric airplane invented by Kyle Clark with Beta Technologies in Burlington. .

Awards go to: John Connell for the first Yestermorrow masterpiece, Jim Henry for the Mad River Canoe designs that changed how canoes ply the rivers. Richard Travers for his elm stove design that demonstrated the most advanced concepts of wood combustion, Rober Burley for the preservation of the pavilion hotel in Montpelier saving the face of the Capitol, Stevenson Flemer for his vernacular village design on rte. 100, Duncan Syme for his spectacuar Vermont Castings stoves, and John Anderson's skylight art at the Burlington airport. And Beta Technologies.

Each design prepresents a courageous new vision of design that has taken hold across the nation.
