The Ruth Stone House's Ode&Psyche Podcast is now featuring a live (with streaming) reading series!
Dec 17th
5-7pm
Red Clover Ale Co.
This reading will celebrate poets and their work, as well as continue a larger conversation around WHY poetry is important more than ever right now in our political, ecological and psychological landscape. We'll look at our guest poets' unique perspective on the power of language, dreaming, metaphor and music. Hopefully together we'll find humor and solidarity as a community at this especially reflective time of year.
Bringing together one local and one visiting poet, the 40 minute reading will be end with a 30-40 discussion about the poetry and its implications on consciousness, and therefore a discussion about its crucial role in our lives. With a chance for audience member to join in. All readings will be audio recorded and live-streamed.
Poets will have a book signing afterwards
(lots of good gift-buying poetry broadsides from the RUTH STONE HOUSE too!)
We will also be offering live or special Guest DJ music, more info to follow!
