FALL FESTIVAL AND FLEA MARKET, OCTOBER 18TH IN WEST PAWLET, VERMONT – VENDOR SPACES ARE AVAILABLE TO RENT; 1ST COME, 1ST SERVE, by Janice B. Edwards, Freelance Writer

A FALL FESTIVAL AND FLEA MARKET will be held on Saturday, October 18th in West Pawlet, Vermont. It will be from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., RAIN OR SHINE! The event will be held at the fire station, which is located on Vermont Route 153 (Main Street). There will be a variety of flea market items from local as well as visiting vendors.

Vendor spaces in the flea market area are available for rent, 1st come, 1st serve; price: $10.00 per space. Reserve your space soon! Contact Edna Winot at (802)645-1074.

Auxiliary member Ellie Park said that a lot will be going on throughout the day at the fire station. She said that there will be a FOOD SALE, a LUNCHEON, a RAFFLE, (a 50/50 Drawing) and bobbing for apples for the children. The Food Sale will offer many homemade items.
 From 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., there will be a PUMPKIN PAINTING CONTEST.
 At 11:00 a.m., there will be a PIE BAKING CONTEST – pumpkin or apple. There is a $5.00 entry fee for the pie baking contest. Prizes will be awarded to 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners. Pie entries need to be delivered NO LATER THAN 10:45 a.m.
 The LUNCHEON begins at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon menu includes hamburgers, hot dogs and beverages.
Raffle tickets for the 50/50 drawing price are $1.00. They may be purchased at the event.
