Invitation to Human Rights Day Panel Discussion

Human Rights are being challenged around the world. This panel discussion, sponsored by Green Valley Media, WILPF-Burlington, and VICII, will take place on December 9th, 1 to 3 pm, at the Fletcher Free Library in Burlington VT, the day before the 75th anniversary of the UDHR in 1948. It will feature area human rights activists, and director of World Service Authority, David Gallup . Gallup will speak about the struggle to achieve consensus on how to define Human Rights in the fraught post World War 2 atmosphere of the new United Nations in Paris, France. He will elaborate on the link between the movement to establish a code of conduct for all humans and the movement to establish a universal identity to unite humanity.
