These cold nights and snowy days make me think about a warm bowl of soup and great company! We want to offer just that at the next Community Dinner at the United Church of Craftsbury. Come join us on Monday, December 11th from 5:30-6:30pm for a delicious bowl of split pea and ham soup or vegetable rice soup. We will also offer a side salad thanks to Pete's Greens and wonderful homemade wood fired sourdough bread made by Dave Brown. Fruit crisp will top off the meal. This is a great time of year for an already prepared meal and some good community fellowship. This meal is free and all are welcome. If you choose to make a donation it will offset the cost of the meal and support our Deacon's Crisis Fund which provides support to those facing financial insecurities.
We are looking for a kind soul to deliver take out meals to our shut-ins and/or help with clean up. If that sounds like something you can help with, please email.
