The Friends of the Art Museum is an association of community members and alumni, faculty, staff, and current students of Middlebury College who love the visual arts. Combined dues from the Friends of the Art Museum support the acquisition program and educational mission of the Museum.
Our December 9th Purchase Party is just around the corner! During this dinner event, members vote to determine which art work the Friends purchase for the Museum from three choices that are presented.
Art Club is a discussion group that meets periodically with assigned topics, like a book club, to explore the pieces in the Museum.
Other events include trips to other museums, often with a curator tour attached for a deeper understanding of exhibits.
